Crushing Equipment for Raw Salt

Crushing equipment is divided into two categories: crushers and mills.

Based on differences in structure and working principles, crushing equipment primarily includes jaw crushers, cone crushers, roller crushers, and impact crushers; milling equipment mainly includes ball mills, high-speed impact mills, jet mills, stirred mills, vibration mills, and high-pressure roller mills.

(Double Roller Crusher)

Among them, the roller crusher, invented in 1806, is widely used in chemical engineering, non-metallic minerals, cement, silicate, metallurgy, and other industrial fields due to its simple structure and uniform product particle size.It is also commonly used in the production of washed salt. Roller crushers can be classified based on the roller surface into smooth roller and toothed roller types, and based on the number of rollers into single-roller, double-roller, triple-roller, and quadruple-roller types.

The double-roller crusher is widely used due to its simple structure, compact size, lightweight, reliable operation, ease of adjusting the crushing degree, and convenient installation and operation. For salt crushing, the double-roller crusher is commonly used.

The double-roller crusher utilizes two counter-rotating rollers to apply frictional force to the material, gripping and crushing it through the pressure exerted by the rollers. The crushed product is discharged from the gap between the two rollers at the bottom. The particle size of the product can be controlled by adjusting the gap between the two rollers. The quadruple-roller crusher, often used in sintering plants for crushing coke, essentially consists of two double-roller crushers stacked together to increase the crushing ratio and reduce the footprint.
