One of the salt plants we serve has a production capacity of 350,000 tpy of salt. Our engineer noticed that gypsum, one of the by-products of salt refining, was being disposed of as waste by the salt plant. The plant had to pay a certain amount of money to the waste collector every year.
Now, the plant no longer pays the waste collector but will instead earn money from gypsum, having taken our engineer's suggestion to build a gypsum plant whose products meet the standard for animal feed additives
The small plant was built on the existing site, which originally was a waste gypsum storage yard. It's small and narrow, making it a challenge to design and fabricate all necessary equipment here.
