Why A Small Building With Big Pillars?

· News
A newly gypsum plant, small building with big pillars

The client asked, "The building for the gypsum plant is small, why do we need such big pillars?" It's true. For a 5000 tpy (tons per year) gypsum plant, the building appears a little small due to the limited space, as mentioned in our last blog (New Built 5000 tpy Gypsum Plant - News (balancesalt.cn)). There is no room to place regular equipment on the ground floor. Our engineer considered placing some equipment on the roof instead. That's why we designed bigger pillars that could bear the weight of the equipment.
